In order to promote the development of explosion-proof manufacturing industry, improve the competitiveness of explosion-proof products provide the technical support for Government supervision and management of explosion-proof products in our province, while enhance our ability to participate in national and international explosion-proof standard works, Guangdong Technical Committee for Standardization of Explosion-proof Equipment, applied by Guangzhou Academy of Special Equipment Inspection & Testing/China Nation Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Explosion-proof Equipment(Guangdong), was set up with the approval of Administration of Quality Supervision of Guangdong Province, the committee number GD/TC88.
Guangdong Technical Committee for Standardization of Explosion-proof Equipment was officially founded in October 2013, with Guangzhou Academy of Special Equipment Inspection & Testing/China Nation Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Explosion-proof Equipment(Guangdong) as the secretariat to undertake the daily work of the Working Group. With the approval of Administration of Quality Supervision of Guangdong Province, the committee consists of a chairman, two vice chairman, a secretary-general and two vice secretary-general. Besides that, the committee also recruited 21 experts from the whole province, who come from research institutes, state-owned/private enterprises, multinational enterprises and institutes.
